AXIA has managed to become my favourite song just because it played during such a powerful moment, but after that Bokura no Senjou is a close second followed by Ikenai Borderline. Giraffe Blues is also great, Walkure Attack is meh.

imo basing the 'winners' off ooc availability was a bad decision. the mods should have done all the questions and answers and then done an rng at the end of the day for group position. then no group is penalised for having different time zone availability.

Hey anon, I think I can see what you're aiming for here and as someone that plays at Eudio and enjoys it there, but would maybe also like another sex game with more conflict, I like the cut of your jib with this idea. I think there's a lot of room to use some of the better suggestions in this thread to make it a game with some SOL but also maybe some mod-run and player-run conflicts that help characters relate to each other, without need for any things that break sexual consent.

Also, while I enjoy noncon and dubcon myself I also recognize that it's good for RP to have a handful of sex games without it for those that are uncomfortable with it or have traumas that make them not want to deal with it, and I can see how that might conflict with the theme you're aiming for. And while Eudio's a nice alternative it's pretty much the only one and the game doesn't allow for many villain plots or peril at all. You're right that there's a potential niche here even if it's a small one. I know a lot of the people that might like this that aren't the types to go on rpa to see this.

So if you want to pass the idea off to someone or have a comod that can maybe take a firmer hand with people for you, pop me a PM to this sock. I wouldn't be able to jump in right away, but it sounds like you'd maybe need some time before you got to it too, so maybe we could work on it over time and build it up together. I also know people to advertise to that might be interested.

that's how it is now, though. the groups online when the mods are and all at the same time are consistently winning and the groups with members in later availability time zones are always trailing.

'Winning' is probably not all that important in reality (and even if one group fails at the event and we start looking at above ground volunteers dying they're still going to revive), but it's still a competition that's not particularly fair ooc.

OTOH I hate plot stuff being decided by RNG so I'm not sure what could've been done different in this type of event. Coordinating schedules and giving a more narrow window of when people would need to be available in the initial sign-up phase, maybe.

Agreed. If the mods had said "Okay, you need to be around from the 13th through the 15th during these set hours each day (like 5-8pm EST or whatever), we're cramming in the event during those days and times" and specifically had gotten people who would be around during that window of availability, I think it would have gone better. Instead it's now the 18th and this event is still going on.

For comparison, the last event went on for nine OOC days, but it didn't feel as long as this event feels. It's entirely because the last event was well-organized, and the plotty stuff was split up into three groups, so no one person had to be involved for all nine days. And the people not in whatever group for that IC day had some interesting stuff to do too, so they weren't just waiting around for the group of that day to finish what they were doing.

I've had a bunch of different subscriptions over time, and I find it worth it because I like being able to access good quality porn without having to trawl through bad shit for it, and big sites tend to use content tags and ratings systems better than places like pornhub.

If you like hardcore kink at all I think kink.com is worth it because you only pay for individual videos witch credits so you can choose what you buy. If you like amateur, makelovenotporn uses the same model (pay per video) and is an indie company that pays actors what they deserve.

Another tactic is to buy a throwaway account for a porn site that has a lot of content you really like, remove your payment info, and then submit that password to a password site in exchange for access to a lot of other premium passwords. I also advise, if you have your own computer, downloading as much content as you can (given site restrictions and your own storage and bandwidth) and keeping it so you still have stuff to watch well after your access has expired.

Finally, a lot of big sites (I watch mostly gay porn so I'm thinking men dot com and cocky boys) have massive discounts if you click away from payment or cancel your subscription; if you're looking for something ongoing, getting those three months for the price of one deals can save you a lot of money. If you want a lot of content, picking networks often gives you access or discounts on a lot of sites for the price of one (a boynapped subscription gets you about six other sites' content, for instance.)

You can usually sample site content by googling for it on major sites (dailymotion as well as stuff like porntube) and there are also tumblrs that upload paywall vids to google docs or download sites like mega.

ayrt Yeah. That still would have made it hard for people in wildly different timezones to participate fully but not everyone can be a part of every event anyway, and I expected the one year anniversary to be pretty intense in terms of impact and participation.

If nothing else I'm getting a lot of backtagging done while my character is puking. Probably a bit rough on the new-this-month players to be cut off from the network for a third of the month without much to do though.

it made my day to get a positive response, and they even reached out and tagged my character on a meme.

(i'm still half-convinced this player is someone on my timeline, someone i know, but c'est la vie.)

Walkure Attack is entirely forgettable to me. I think that alone is bad enough. :/

I had a guy (human Ret pally, natch) from Sargeras whisper threats to me after my guild kicked him from our dungeon group. He then started rolling alts on my server to continue threatening me every time I blocked him.

I paid for Slipshine because I like comics and I like porn, and I like porny comics, but didn't renew because I didn't go there that often and I wasn't really caught by the stories that were going up. Regardless, I originally purchased to support the site, which has a good idea, and I might again at some point if they get a hot string of art and stories... but most of it wasn't my bag, alas.

what's the longest time you've ever spent on a video game

i've been working on playing this one jrpg for 4 years. i'm about half way through it.

If I'm write, That Flynn is one of the TLH crowd. I haven't played there for years, so I don't remember the name, but it looks like he crawled out of a JRPG. Possibly Tales.

Basically a Nice Guy pillow queen. Expecting women to approach him for sex after he was friendly, taking a passive role in the sex itself...

AA is a great example, I've got all the manga with the translator notes in the back and I am highly impressed that they managed to make the name puns make sense in English and correspond well to the Japanese name puns. Not every translation or sub is that clever, though, so I usually have reservations about changing puns and jokes until I can find out if it's still true to the original spirit.

thank you both, anons. it would be a second game so I think the pace is fine, but I'm not much into SoL so being able to affect the world is more appealing to me. I'll see about throwing someone on the tdm!
