This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

i accidentally just posted this on the last entry, wtg self. anyway does anyone know if there's any kind of free program that can take multiple screen shots quickly from netflix or hulu? print screen isn't great and pausing on both brings up their watermark/info thing.

i'm not looking for anything special or fancy for graphics beyond that, just something that can quickly do screenshots. if a program with more would be necessary i don't mind that either.

Wishing to commission community layouts/graphics

I have been wanting to open a game for some time and the thing that has always held me back is getting a lovely layout for the communities/ads/etc.

I was hoping to pay someone (via DW points, Amazon wishlist items, or Paypal, whichever is preferred) to have someone make something for me. Once the coding is done I usually don't have a problem editing it copy-wise and such, it's just the development of it.

Things wanted would be:

1. Ad/Synopsis Layout
2. Taken Lists
3. Reserves Page
4. Locations
5. NPC Info Page

I am also looking for someone who would be willing to create a few graphics for the community. It doesn't have to be the same person, though it certainly can be. Things I would like to have:

1. Main Banner
2. Classroom/Gym/Dining Hall pictures (for locations)
3. NPC Headshots

I'd be happy locating the base photos for 3 (and 2) but I'd like someone to make them look good, as I don't really have substantial graphics programs and time to learn at the moment.

Please let me know if you're interested and let me know your rates? If you can provide a link or two to things you've done, I'd really appreciate it!

probably a bit of a longshot here, but i'm curious if anyone can help me with a spacing problem i'm having on occasion. plurks on my timeline are normally spaced a bit apart, but i've been finding that every once in a while, one of mine will seem almost attached to another plurk. the spacing's too close and it's like they're conjoined with one placed above the other, but touching even when they're closed. i don't know how to do padding for it and i've tried with the one block of css i do know affects my timeline, but it hasn't seemed to do anything. any suggestions or even just pointing me in the right direction would be amazing.

Inspiring: This man wants to tag memes with an awkward gimmick account but can't make icons on his chromebook and is too lazy to turn on his computer because it takes so long to boot up. So instead he asks rpanons for help even though he's pretty sure no one has made icons of this man (http://www.clickhole.com/search?page=2&tags=well-played) and the post is almost full! Wow! What effort!
