so how's the second season of fear doing? season one was so disappointing that i might only marathon it once it's over to psych myself up for twd proper.

i really wish they would have gone slow with it (even if people bitched) and concentrated on the government fallout and societal collapse. instead of just fast-forwarding into a shittier twd on a boat.

i might tune in though if they finally use heroin guy to go all trainspotting with zombies.

I was going to read the linked article so I could actually discuss the issue, but then I opened it and saw how ridiculously long it was and then remembered I don't hate myself.

Besides we all know having an actual discussion about this would be pointless on both sides and you should take this to somewhere that might legit care.

No underscores, please. I was trying to think of an awful vhs related username but I'm drawing a blank.

- all over the us (new york was great, also very into smaller cities outside of LA)
- canada (toronto and vancouver bc many times)
- mexico (various cities)
- japan (tokyo, kyoto, osaka)
- hong kong
- netherlands (amsterdam and some countryside stuff)

best food winner goes to hong kong with japan as a close second. my favorite place in mexico was sayulita, but i hear it's become really touristy since then. when i went it was this great little village without much english spoken. my favorite place language-wise was mexico, because everyone i ran into was delighted i was trying to learn spanish and more than happy to patiently help me out

i really want to go to italy and south korea above all else, but places like the bahamas, germany, jamaica, and literally anywhere in south america are on the list too. i'm pretty lucky and have family or friends in most of those places, so it's just a matter of finding the time and money.

I'm guessing there are a bunch of us in this hobby, but last time I posted this in one of these threads there were several questions.

why do they only have like 5 out of 26 registers open at any given time? that's gotta suck for you guys too.

The best explanation I have gotten is that it's because they don't want to pay anyone else to be there on register. It's even worse when your job is a neighborhood market, though. Food Stamp Days are hell, as are any days before major storms. People panic stock up and the lines are full, and there we have maybe two to four open at a time.

I am not familiar with most of them, sadly, but I am still excited!
