rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. there's a big difference between "people i don't talk to anymore" and "people i don't talk to anymore and don't want a friendship with because they're terrible"

Yeah but them being awful doesn't negate the history we had, and it doesn't suddenly erase the curiosity. If you don't wonder about people you have no desire to be friends with that's fine, but there's literally no reason for you to feel threatened by me wondering

i'm the op of the comment that started this shitshow, and i for one didn't write it out of a feeling of being 'threatened', but more out of concern for you, honestly. if someone has had an actively harmful effect on your life and you've cut them off... why in the world would you risk inviting them back in? it just seems completely irrational. checking up on their blog or whatever is one thing, that's normal, but initiating conversation with them asking how they were, that's just going to look like you're trying to rekindle the friendship.

I wouldn't, actually. Me saying that is akin to saying "I'm going to kill x" or "I'm so hungry I could eat a horse"

I'm not going to be killing anyone or eating any horses. I just wonder what's going on, since social media stalking isn't an option
