I joined a new game after quitting two years ago under a new name. I completely changed everything about me for this new persona and so far I've had success. One problem: someone who doesn't like the actual me joined the same game at the same time, and they want to play with me. They want my character to reach out to theirs. Should I act like nothing is wrong and do this? Or should I flake out on them so that if I ever get revealed, I can say "Well you came to me and I was going to avoid you?"

Hey CAHnons- I'm not hosting a game tonight because I need to go to bed, but I finally got around to putting the rpanons deck on Cardcast. I tossed a few games in there that weren't around when the original deck went up, as well as a couple new bonus cards.

And it's editable, so we can add more new cards in the future if necessary!

Anyway, it's searchable but the code is KR4UQ just in case.

also since i think this is on the wiki but not in the game proper- to use custom decks via cardcast you enter /addcardcast (code) as a chat command. So we have that now, in case they ever remove the locally-hosted custom decks like the front page has said for ages they're going to.

not in rp, but in fanfics, are you turned off by first-person narration?

i've met so many people like this and i don't understand why. i prefer regular fiction written in first person, but i also think that fanfic in first person isn't widespread enough. obviously you'll have self-inserts, but what about people who get it right? i think it's great to see characterization that way.
