This is the Xavier Institute of Higher Learning. You are here because you are different. Gifted. A mutant. The Institute is a pan-fandom, plot driven, alternate universe (AU) role playing game set in the world of Marvel's X-Men. sci-fi/dystopian game

A sci-fi/dystopian game based on Paranoia + Brave New World + 1984. Game setting would be some kind of 'complex', supposedly the last safe city in the world, controlled by an all-powerful figure AI/person/whatever, with a heavily stratified society. Characters would be told that they have been brought in to make up for the lessening population, but there would be some (to be decided) sinister purpose behind it.

Characters would keep their powers, either registering them upon arrival and have them kept under check by the government, or not doing so and facing punishment if they are discovered.

Death would be handled by 'clones'. The complex recycles everything, including genetic codes, so when people die they just download their memories into a new body. Canon/power updates would also be explained using this system, updates are errors in the cloning system.

Other thing would be the option of working with/against the government.

for those who aren't familiar with the book description: he's supposed to be "angelic" looking, blonde, blue-eyed, mid-twenties but looks considerably younger. preferably with mostly serious expressions. from the 1800s if possible, but i can work with photoshop if not. i'm having a hard time finding PBs who have the requisite loveliness without being the typical stoned!model type. help?

Doxing anon from the last post, I figured I would give you guys an update (so scroll by if you don't care)

I called my local police station and they told me I could come in and file a report. I did, and while the officer wasn't quite sure he had done anything illegal, she agreed that it was suspicious and that it was probably worthwhile to file a case just for a "paper trail" in case it escalates anymore.

The guy got banned from the subreddit and then the reddit mods actually banned him. Unfortunately he already has reappeared on the subreddit, but he's being mostly quiet for now. Funnily enough, his new account is his real name.

So yeah, my local police were really understanding even if they couldn't do anything and I encourage other anons to explore options like this early on if something similar happens. I'm lucky that this guy is more bark than bite. I'm not really afraid that he's going to show up at my work or approach me at the gym, but the police know exactly what's going on if he does.

Anons, I am a loser when it comes to coding, especially on Plurk, so I need help.

I want my Plurk to only display my profile picture, and the little blurb of info that usually sits under it. Nothing else on the dashboard, and for aesthetic reasons, I don't want a visible scrollbar. Does anyone know how to do that?
