It did have an effect on Allison though. The whole torture thing is shown via her flashbacks and she's clearly disturbed by it, heck she bursts into tears and gets hysterical after being pulled over.

Erica and Boyd didn't really have a chance to have a reaction. They avoided watching while it happened and the next time they're seen, they're running again.
Neither character was given the screen-time because they had to wrap up the Jackson plot. Likewise Scott's reaction to Stiles' condition was also cut due to time, so all you get is Scott's relief while reading a text message.

Considering Erica is going to be a no-show for S3, I'm kind of disappointed we won't get to see more of her reactions and possibly Boyd's about their own time being hooked up to a torture device. From what I've seen, Isaac seems to be the only one with any kind of reaction to the crap that he's gone through, and he seems to be using his new abilities to help him cope with it, which is cool. I get that time's a factor and they can't really go into huge explicit detail about everything, but if I had to point out something to have a complaint about regarding the show, it would be how mercurial everyone's moods seem to be. The characters suffer from the worst case of bipolar ever.

What you have to keep in mind is that originally Isaac, Erica and Boyd weren't signed up to be re-occuring characters. Then it dropped to Erica and Boyd.
Obviously now it's a question as to whether Boyd is going to join Isaac as a re-occurring character or not.

Something that generally gets pointed out is that the story is meant to revolve around Scott. So he's the main focus, any time left over for other reactions essentially goes down in order of how important they are with current events.
Erica and Boyd were chained up. Stiles was literally the only one to know they were there. And he doesn't arrive in the finale until the final few moments.

Regardless though. They're going to have longer to flesh out the characters for season 3 and apparently the main cast isn't spending much time together for the first half. Dylan mentioned that Stiles spends most of his time with either Lydia or with his Dad.

I've heard something about team human, so I was figuring that Stiles and Lydia teamed up a bit more, maybe with Allison?

It's good to hear there's going to be longer seasons, but knowing that most of the cast is going to be spread out so much makes me really curious as to what the season's going to be like. I'm looking forward to it, either way.

I honestly have no idea about Allison. All i've seen is something about her and Boyd. Maybe she's the one that finds him after the alpha pack?

They have only mentioned that they're spread thin for the first half, which is the alpha pack arc, and is seemingly for character development purposes. I have to admit though, i'm not looking forward to the season.

Everyone getting love interests out of the blue just doesn't really appeal to me. And the fact that they're really trying to push the fact that there's going to be some sort of conflict with Scott and Stiles over Isaac? Not really appealing to me personally.
It could turn out fine though.

The love interest angle doesn't appeal to me either. I don't like cookie cutter relationships and I don't think everyone needs to be in one for a show to work. I have heard about Isaac trying to be Scott's new bff and Stiles getting rightly bummed about it, but I have no idea what the end result in that's going to be, which is why I'd like to watch it and I'm HOPING for the best. Then again, I'm used to my shows disappointing me in terms of where characters should wind up via where they actually wind up.

Can't speak for anyone else but. Stiles getting a new love interest since he's move on from Lydia? I can accept that.
Lydia getting a new love interest after the whole Jackson arc? Nope. How does that make sense given that her devotion to Jackson is what saved him in the end?

I don't have high hopes of the Stiles, Scott, Isaac thing. If only because Dylan mentioned having a really sad scene with Tyler and I prefer to plan for the worst.

If I have to actually buy tissues to watch this season, I'm going to be sorely disappointed.

I agree with the Lydia love interest thing. I don't agree with it and this is part of my point of the characters being mercurial in their emotions. To go from being entirely devoted to Jackson to moving on, and to do it to someone new as opposed to someone that's pretty much admitted to being okay with being a Lydia-slave is just weird.

It's a possibility, depends on what makes you cry really.

It's weird but at the same time, it is a matter of 'this is a spoiler and we don't know the context'.
We know that the alpha twins are going after Danny and presumably Lydia. A love interest doesn't necessarily mean that they hook up, it might end up that Lydia is being pursued but nothing comes from it.
Until we actually see the season, or until more spoilers are given out, there's no way to say for certain whether or not she is quickly moving on from Jackson.

And if it turns out that she is moving on that quickly, i'm going to be pretty pissed.
