Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

in the movies??

I have this idea for a jamjar where characters end up on the set of some intergalactic production studio that films everything from daytime cable television shows to old b-horror movies and romantic epics. You name it, they produce it.

Player characters are abducted from their worlds, forced into a contract against their will, and brought on as stage hands, crew members, secretaries, and to play minor roles in films. Obviously the masterminds behind this plot are very evil and greedy, because money talks in the glamorous town of Glamourwood, not real talent. They want only the cheapest labor and they can't afford their little helpers running away.

Characters will be assigned a day job upon arrival, which can be anything from sweeping the sets after closing to cleaning lion cages. Being outsiders, they're treated poorly by most npcs and any native crew members. At first, only npcs will be superstars, actors and actresses, singers, dancers, and entertainers (this will change, though!). If player characters get rich and famous enough, they can pay off their contract and go home.

Idk this just came to me after watching Who Framed Roger Rabbit. If there's any interest I can feel it out some more.
