Apparent secret TERFs who are being transphobic and talking about a former dramatic player using a rude portmanteau of their name and deadname when they've done either absolutely nothing wrong (I have no history here so I don't know) or haven't done anything wrong in long enough it doesn't really matter.

that's just it, though. anons are leaving out the fact that this person was an active creep/harasser and the portmanteau originated so that people would be aware that this was the same person because they had a history of stalking people and trying to circumvent people's dnis.

why can't you guys simply say if this person comes back: "this player's name is kay. she has a previous history of frequently overstepping boundaries and circumventing permissions in order to push kink/ships on others. she has made games uncomfortable to be in and was banned from xyz, etc."

that's all you have to say. you don't have to even bring up the deadname or bring up how creepy and off putting you find the circumstances of their transitioning, because it's not relevant to the crux of the issue. which is this person being the sort of individual that oversteps boundaries and tries to get by permissions.

of course you have to bring up their previous name, otherwise people who might remember them by their previous handle but not the current one won't know who tf you're talking about. are you being purposefully obtuse?

and when people rightfully ask for proof that you're not pulling all this out of your ass it should be obvious to include a part where "X previously went by Z while they were harassing and stalking people, so the screenshots and mod ban announcement refer to them by their previous name."

but it doesn't matter because the end result is the same anyway? and they're already transitioned at this point? what do you think they're going to do, a switcharoo where they're suddenly i.ding as neurodivergent and a minor so you have to tag with them? bffr

i don't think anyone said that though. if i'm wrong feel free to correct me, but from what i've seen, everyone myself included has been saying that it's been years since this person was relevant or in this space, and yet they're brought up a lot as some sort of example, which in itself appears to be an excuse to be transphobic. not that their behavior should be excused at all or wasn't relevant.

da and yeah, afaik they haven't been around in public rp spaces for a while now so in that sense it's not a current issue but it absolutely isn't true that they didn't do anything wrong. they stalked a friend of mine for a while even after my friend made very clear they didn't want to tag with their characters.
