Does anyone play JUST m/f in this game or is every dude jumping on every other dude?

I’ve played m/m in the past though. But just can’t see this dude doing it. He has a gf in canon.

there are/were a few m/f players. you might have to try harder for tags since you're not smutting with half the population but no one will look at you twice for it.

if you're just asking if there's a lot of gay stuff then yeah, there's a lot of gay stuff.

You might have a harder time getting things going, but there are a few female characters in the game and the wankiest ones have long since been dropped, so you're likely to get better cr than you would have if you'd apped him last year.

There are also events that can cause your character to do things they normally wouldn't, so if you don't mind occasionally leaning on those to fill in your cr with some "emergency" m/m help through certain events then you'll be fine.

but if youre playing m/f, what does what the other male characters in the game do and who they fuck have to do with your ability to play said m/f

im just taking a quick once-over so i could be wrong but it doesnt seem like there's a particular shortage of female characters for your guy to smut with so im kind of confused

I didn’t explain it well. Sorry.

I asked what other guys are doing to see whether it was mostly m/m or m/f or split down the middle. If it’s mostly m/m (and people are playing m/m because they can’t get much m/f action) then I would have a harder time trying to do m/f myself. Some male characters CAN be played m/m or
bi but with the character I was going to app, it would have been harder to swing it that way unless he eats something spiked with a sex drug or whatever. Also, some games are very m/m centric as there’s not much m/f going on.

I think I would be better off apping a character that I can write both m/f and m/m with so I will try and get in there for the next app cycle.

i'm not sure why you didn't start off by asking how many women there are and how many women are playing m/f and what that's like and went at it from that angle.

because if it's mostly m/m, i still don't see how that impacts you unless your dude's a homophobe (which ig could be the case? but idk how well he'd fit in erku if he's that homophobic) and gets upset over homosexual activities. it's just a weird line of questioning to me. i'm not trying to talk you out of it. but it's like a vegetarian worrying if there's enough salad and opening up by asking about the meat options at the buffet table and if there's enough steak to go around and what other meat there is. and you can make a connection (not enough meat means they might hit the salads harder) but it brings up the question of why you didn't ask about the salads first.

I play mostly M/F and know that there are some plenty of female characters whose players are actively seeking male partners for them. It'll depend in part on your character as to how many bites you get, though.

I've only ever played f/f my entire rp career and it's kinda lmao someone is worried about this. Like I almost get it but lmao this absolutely happens to us every time. Trust me, you'll be fine, I don't begrudge you but am more commenting on the culture; it's been like this the decade+ I've been playing. m/f has never ever been a problem literally anywhere at anytime in this hobby. f/f solidarity fistbump, anon. shit sucks, especially when people tell you they're all excited to play f/f with their female characters only to ditch you repeatedly to boomerang all their male cr. then they'll act like they don't know why their character is closer to more men than women.

unfortunately male characters will always have the advantage in this hobby and i hate it. i won't alter my preferences to fit what's popular, but playing f/f and female characters more has been a very depressing and eye opening experience for me and op's comment just comes off as hilariously tone deaf.

Yeah, I myself am a lesbian, so it's what I want to play, I've played male characters before but more so as goof off/jokey kind of characters to blow off some steam with, and I can get the best non-romantic/sexual CR ever and become a prominent character for years and become like a cool friend/big sis/mom figure to others and tag out and get into plots/events/help plan stuff/etc but the second it comes to doing anything actually f/f based, people flake big time, and it sucks. The anon who came in barging about "so which shit cartoon canon player are you" proves it too, because all I get no matter what or who I play is "oh this is for neckbeards." It's a bizarre, persistent problem that's been around since LJ days. So we have a problem of lack of players (as another another anon put it), and I think part of it is these persistent attitudes. It's not conducive to anyone actually attempting it, and puts a huge barrier to entry around it, which I get it, if I weren't so stubborn I'd probably have stopped trying years ago, I don't blame anyone not wanting to come into this fold.

Unfortunately my time is a lot more limited nowadays so my chances at this basically don't even exist anymore, but a girl can dream.

Again, to the anon that brought this up originally, the culture here will definitely eventually favor your m/f preferences, if not much sooner rather than later. You could have it way way way worse.

on the flipside of this I've been playing a canon lesbian for a year and have never had a single issue getting CR or hookups for her in games or on memes. I get that some people have this problem but is it really just down to there not being enough f/f players or is it something else about the choice of characters, plot hooks, game setting, etc?
