Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. With a game this big, someone is going to get left out from the CR they want with a player. And with a game this big, a player could easily get swamped with CR that they now want to focus on building.

building those cr could take place over months. What are they expected to do then? Take on more CR because it's the correct thing to do? Who's helping them when they burn out from trying to tackle too many threads? Some characters are just popular and get piled on in open posts. Is it wrong for players to manage the number of threads they can handle? And sometimes it's not entirely visible when they do take on one or two new CR with new players. Because people would just see them tagging their existing CR/clique as the majority.

This whole thing about cliques in general in dwrp is irritating. I get that it's frustrating if it's in a smaller game where their CR would matter but there's such a large pool of players in Empatheias. Yes, it sucks when the CR you want can't be had because the player is too busy, or prefer to stick with developing what they have. I've been on the receiving end of it. So I get disappointed for a while and move on. I've also been on the side where I qualify as cliquey just because I'm swamped, having trouble keeping up with rp cause of rl, or whatever other reason. And I do want to tag out or do open logs. The heart want but there's no capacity to handle it.
