it's disturbing how some of my most miserable relatives keep telling me i should have kids when i'm not even dating anyone atm.

y'all got baby daddies that you knew were trash from the beginning (most of them) or became trash when you got pregnant, and you're constantly miserable because you get 100% of the responsibility and also 100% of the hate from baby daddy's fam for not giving him equal parental rights.

idgaf if i'm in my late 20's, let me live my damn life pretending to be naruto on the internet.

i've told them i'll foster if i want kids so bad but they act like i'm crazy for wanting "damaged goods."

tbh i'd rather foster a kid that already exists but they act like i'm crazy for thinking that instead of wanting a special bond with MY OWN FLESH AND BLOOD!

i already lost the genetic lottery health-wise so i'm not passing any of my shit genes on, thanks.

i don't disagree with their observations that i'd be "an amazing parent" based on my pet-owning and babysitting skills but that doesn't mean i want to add more kids to this world when there are already kids that exist and need love and help.

thanks. although i'm not currently in a position to foster atm and idk when i would be. so being applauded feels undeserved.

i have a goddamn diagnosed autoimmune disease and my fam treats me like i'm just being a hypochondriac~~~ uwu. even if i wanted kids... um??? pregnancy + autoimmune disease = sounds like a fucking disaster on top of the disaster pregnancy already is on your body.

i just ignore it at this point because if i fight it, they'll probably google furiously for dumb feelgood stories about how WOW THEY FOUND THIS MOM'S SON'S DNA IN HER HEART HEALING HER WOW WOW WOW WHAT IF THIS HAPPENED 2 U??????????
