why did I get the feeling that we'd be getting Hadaka Shitsuji at some point

Because Good Haro loves it. Anyway, I'm kinda disappointed/worried about it being the BL game we got. The content is offputting so I'm worried about how well it will do.

I don't think it will kill our chances at getting more BL titles since I really think we will get Room no.9 next year, but it could hurt them. Then again it's super niche so maybe even if it doesn't do as well, Mangagamer will take that into account.

I get the feeling they're also counting on Hadaka Shitsuji's infamy among the west being such a meme and the BL fandom's desperation for more content to garner sales. Guess we'll see how that goes?

I was hoping more for Shingakkou TBH, but I might get Hadaka Shitsuji if only because I've never actually played the game and I want to see for myself what the hubbub is about.

And we all knew deep down Kouryuu was never going to be allowed rest. Rest in pieces in the MG dungeons, man.

Seriously though, MG has been faster about releasing games in recent years. I'll take a bet on Dal Segno getting out by next year and Kouryuu might not suffer as much. Maybe.

Other than that:

+1 on Bocchi Musume. I was actually going to buy it off of JP DLSite, but then the English version got announced. My wallet is saved.

Forgot to ask, does Maggot baits have an option to switch off its more grotesque images? I want to check it out despite it being practically snuff porn, but there's a certain amount of visual gore I can take before feeling queasy.

I think Maggot Baits does indeed have an option to turn off the guro. CLOCKUP tends to have that option from what I've heard.

And apparently Kouryuu isn't the one translating Dal Segno! I wonder what poor translator got stuck with it instead.
