gg is like borderline retarded though? i know it's a sex game but she couldn't be ic or differentiate character voice if her life depended on it. she has this people pleaser, impossible to be critical or negative about anything attitude about everything that also turns into a "her way or no way" attitude about her beliefs, even if canon contradicts what she thinks. she also has a hard time differentiating head canon from canon.

I know for a fact that she was pretty much single-handedly starting all The Evil Within wank about how important Joseph was and how Sebastian was clearly canon bi/gay even before DLC was around. You can catch her downplaying the importance of canon het relationships and confusing her pet ships for canon all over her fandoms. I'm not against Seb being bi but there was nothing at all in the game especially pre-DLC that indicated a closeness to Joseph (especially when it was mentioned they had a falling out and he treated him more like a burden for most of the game) and was still wearing his wedding ring.

I really wanted to discuss all of the symbolism and intent and everything, but she would curb every discussion to Joseph and how important he was. I know she does this in other fandoms she's involved in too since I've had her added for a long time and would see her say things in her own plurks and mutuals that would be word-for-word the wank in those fandoms and it would always be about shipping and not even opinion but treating every immature and childish conclusion she came to as literal fact. I agree with her inability to grasp canon and context clues and to play down or up things to suit her needs which is usually shipping. It's more that she treats it as canon fact than she has certain headcanons or ships this or that for me. I personally hold moderators to a higher standard or at least average standard in play style and ability to comprehend the canons they play from.

Most of the characters she plays feel off to me and I don't know how to describe it other than "boring" and like all of her characters could be the same if you changed the icons. That combined with how vindictive and catty she is under anon when people disagree with her make for a problem mod, especially in a game that's geared toward shipping and sex. People tend to be more dumb about ships and smut and wanky when they don't get what they like and I don't think I could trust her to be objective in judging apps or cutting people AC and hiatus slack or to not abuse the power. I'm not really sure who I'd want on the mod team because I think anyone I could see as a mod probably wouldn't have the time or drive for it.

this is so funny to me because i actually know who it was starting all of that wank because i'm friends with them and was talking to them on aim in realtime as it was happening, and it wasn't gg. the person in question doesn't play from TEW anymore, which is why you don't see that wank popping up anymore on the very rare occasion that TEW threads happen in this comm.

i can't really speak to the rest of your criticism of gg because i don't know her that well, but i do know for a fact that it was not her who started or stoked that firestorm. she might agree with what was said during that wank or whatever, but she didn't post it.

it was nothing too exciting. they just sent me what they said and what was happening. they were amazed that so many people were so upset, because they didn't think that enough people even liked the game enough to care that much. they also admitted that their posts were worded kind of histrionically but figured it was too late to do damage control, so they just let the trolls spin themselves out. i wasn't really sure what to tell them because i'm not canon familiar, so i just let them vent at me.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ i guess? like i said, i'm not canon familiar. i can only tell you what i know, and unless my friend has been keeping a jasper-style alter ego all these years and i had no idea, gg wasn't the one who started or fanned that wank.

i'm just shocked that this has come up as relevant in a game that i'm currently in. i honestly forgot about it until i read this comment, because for me it was just some stupid wank that my dumbass friend got involved with. i just felt that it was unfair for someone else to get blamed for something so matter-of-factly when i know otherwise.

i'm definitely positive gg was heavily involved in the wank. i didn't think she was a one woman team i figured there was probably a lot of people just adding fuel to the fire for the sake of it but there's something about edgy canons that attract people like this. i want to say i'm surprised that there's at least three people like this who were involved but at the same time i'm not. you become numb to a lot of things when you're in su fandom i guess.

either way she was definitely involved in it and genuinely believed a lot of the dumb fanon shit she was saying to be canon. i've had run ins with her over the years and she only seems to have the most basic middle school understanding of any canon or character and draws weird conclusions that always lean toward whatever guy she decides she faps to being some bottom bitch slobbering uke. it's really offensive because she doesn't seem to be able to characterize anyone as anything other than a dull nothing with a gaping ass hole which is probably why she sticks to sex games now.

i'm not sure where you got three people from this, but i can tell you definitively that there was one person who caused the majority of the wank. i'm sure people did throw fire on it, but to say that gg is responsible is boldly untrue.

also, i'm in carvaka and i've skimmed over some of gg's thread because her character is fairly popular. she plays joseph as a dom and plays to people's authority kink.

i hate this because i feel like i'm whiteknighting, but damn you guys have it out for someone who seems to not deserve it, at least from where i'm standing.

Really? I remember seeing GG in a mutual's plurk going on and on about the ship even as the mutual said they didn't ship it (or m/m usually. She didn't shut up and then started to post ship art, some of which was explicit without warning even as everyone ignored her. The mutual was clearly very uncomfortable. I saw her do it a few times to this person but this one time really stood out as embarrassingly cringeworthy and unaware of boundaries and no respect for someone else. I never had her added so I don't know how common this is and that's the only person I know who was her mutual but whenever she'd comment she'd say something really dumb and seemed to be incapable of understanding cues and subtleties and whatnot in canon and online. She gives me really bad second hand embarrassment.

besides, didn't this game come out like three years ago or something? this seems like a silly thing to try to pin on someone for so long. if there's a good, solid reason for gg not to be mod of this game, i would very much like to know because i'm in it. i want someone to step up and take modship because i don't want to see carv end, but a person being obnoxious about a ship three years ago doesn't pass my litmus test, especially since any theories about her being an ass about it all over rpanons don't hold water.

this is a really weird thing to be invested in, not invested in, have tracked, have deets about, have deets you mention but currently can't give, and feel the need to reply to when for some reason despite the subject you're going to bring it around to "well it was the years ago who cares" when you're posting? idk if this is spiteknighting or what.

the point isn't starting wank or the subject, it's the why and how and the inability to compromise or take things as they're presented factually in canon as well as ongoing reactions to something they disagree with. it came out assertions halloween so it hasn't actually been three years and is probably closer to two and there has been wank about it as recent as only a few months ago, which fits the things she said and for she acted to a t, which if you want to really call it three years shows how she can't let shit go. again, she also lacks basic social skills like not doing a thing she was asked not to, repeatedly, and she's so below average and incapable of writing a character that i would not want her as a mod. mods don't have to be shakespeare and i don't hold them up to some higher standard of quality, but i expect a mod to be on par with their average player and be able to judge things like characterization and writing which she isn't qualified for. again i also wouldn't trust her to make judgments hat are fair and unbiased either.

those are the reasons and i think they're more than enough for me, sorry they don't hit the wank standard of rl harassment or money conning or whatever arbitrary level that isn't enough for you.
