rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

lmao but okay how the FUCK do the mods intend to enforce the "intent to murder" rule. Anyone with half a brain is going to fucking lie about it, whether it be IC or OOC. Say someone plays Bimmy and he's pissed at Jimmy and wants to go kill his ass, but he doesn't say this out loud. Doesn't hint to it in any way. He just shows up at Jimmy's crib and beats the fuck out of him, but then changes his mind and no killing happens. How do the mods know this wasn't just a scuffle? Bimmy and Jimmy's players both deny that Jimmy was out for murder, so how are the mods supposed to prove that Bimmy had murder on the brain?

make murder against the rules all you want, that's reasonable, but for fuck's sake don't try to micromanage your players.

i could be totally wrong but i figure that the point is that bimmy knows that there are ic consequences to murder and so would hopefully know that his intent isn't to kill but to pick a fight and that would be done by the players not the mods. the impression that i get from this is that it's to try and curb the "this character kills another character for drama" plotline and actually isn't going to be policed closely.

I'm guessing the mods expect their players to be mature adults and not to be complete pissbabies constantly trying to skirt the rules because they can't bear the thought of their character not rubbing their murder boner.

Which is funny because most of the comments on the post are from people trying to skirt the rules (or just trying to make sense of their halfassed bullshit explanations)
