rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

so with two big games asking players to tone it down on the murder/death plots: are there any current games in DWRP that are big on PvP? Seems like people are pretty thirsty for it but most games are cooperative/PvE based.

I'm curious, what's the other game that did this?

Thisavrou did for sure, and Empatheias judging from the thread here.

Undergrounds is faction based, but it's AU. Ryslig has god factions that encourage PvP but I was there for a while and almost no one played the PvP stuff. The events were largely torture and PvE based.

I wish there was another big PvP game like Eachdraidh. As long as it's stated up front that it's PvP focused and that means there will be times when you can't play fluffsnuggles with characters from enemy factions without consequence, and the mods don't overload themselves with complicated features and duties, it could work. I had characters that really thrived in Eachdraidh that I haven't found new homes for. I think there's definitely a gap that could be filled with something similar.

Maybe something where characters have to agree to join their faction so you don't end up with a good chunk of each faction being pretty neutral.

I mean, everyone's playing asshole villains and even if they can't, you know, die again, I don't see why murdering people would be a big deal. You come back. You're still in Hell.

idk, I'd be down for someone trying to murder my character there.
