rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

i don't. i've never changed plurks. i just think it's so weird that you're hung up on someone but you don't remember their username? what about just their name in general...? the characters they played? the games they were in?

okay, first off, way to be an utter dick to someone actually using the thread for what it's for. secondly, fuck you. i have plenty of friends that i genuinely like on plurk, but you could put a gun to my head and i couldn't tell you their username. between their display names changing frequently, and usernames just not really coming up unless you're trying to ping them (which i don't do), this isn't some impossibility for someone to not know all or even their faves via their plurk username.

now, maybe their characters and/or games, but wow. slow your fucking judgement roll.

hey, i was one of the ones up thread saying that someone started it off wrong and it snowballed from there. but someone was actually using the thread for the purpose it was intended and you (or whoever did, if that wasn't you) came in and 'pff, what a bunch of shit. how do you now know someone's username?' that's just uncalled for. don't be a cunt just because you can. the suggestion of the games/characters was fine, but there was no reason to be all megatwat over someone not remembering something that a lot of people don't remember.

well, when someone specifically says they don't know the username and they have no idea how to track a person down otherwise, making it sound like they don't remember any details about them at all, yes that's going to come across as weird as fuck. it's not just the username. it's acting like they couldn't remember a single stitch of detail to give on this person aside from "you deleted your plurk and i miss youuuu even though i didn't talk to you"
