rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme. Your unfunny, forced memes also fall under this rule.

If there were any smut-related invite-only games out there, what would an anon need to do in order to see about getting an invite? Should I ask for a sock and mention the kind of characters I'd like to play over PM, maybe?

i'd go to the mod plurk and ask if anyone's willing to invite you even though you don't know anyone in game. though be wary, invite-only games tend to be a lot more cliquey than public games for obvious reasons: it's just friends inviting friends inviting friends.

I might be! I've heard of them but haven't done a read-through to see if the premise suits who I'm interested in playing, let alone really thought of the clique factor.

(seriously, though, anon upthread is right about asking on the mod plurk, if you don't know anyone in the game. i'd personally see if they have a tdm first - some private games do, to vet newbies or give them a chance to see if they mesh with the players - just because private games can be a bit of a crapshoot, especially if they're locked.)

speaking only and specifically to clockbox, I got an invite by playing on the test drive meme and then PMing the person I was playing with for an invite, and someone else in the game I know was offered an invite by a stranger on that old logged in sock anoncomm. I have an invite for this month if you're interested and leave me a way to contact you so we can deanon.
