they have, but since coa closed, there hasn't really been much in the way of game-wide events that fall along those lines. zodion/ophiuchus tried, but it was a shitty wanky game that died early on. tana doesn't do it and eudio sure as hell won't. that leaves what, amat back when it was in play? let's not get into why that game is full of shit. for what games we have now and have had access to for the last year or so, there hasn't been much in the way of things like sex pollen or dubcon or aphros. people are always talking about missing out on crack events and things that happened back when rp was actually fun. maybe you (and op) might want to try old school for a little nostalgia and fun factor. or maybe not. i don't care.

You dropped that massive assblistered rant at the op when I was the one that made the comment on why this is why there are no new games. When the op had nothing to do with that comment.

As for the rest, now a mod that probably wanted to just run some cutesy niche cuddlegame thing that might have been fun for at least a handful of people got discouraged out of modding altogether because you were a ragey ranty dick angry it wasn't a kinkfest.

So let's do a spot check. Now we have no new kinky sex game still. No new cutesy cuddlesex game that some people might have liked. No new game in general. A potential mod that might have worked up to being able to mod if they'd hadn't been ranted at with five paragraph essays on why they needed to include noncon. And every potential mod that might have wanted to run a kinky sex game, like some of us want, that's watching the game ideas thread, knows they'd have to deal with the more hostile and toxic anons in this thread as players if they made it. Which probably doesn't increase our chances of getting one sooner.

the fact is, op's too thin skinned to be a mod atm and you're too whiteknighty and gleefully guilt trippy to be in a game like that. go back to eudio and cuddle something. (and fyi, you can play kinky sex in eudio. like the newly proposed 'kink' game, as long as it's consensual, it's a go, so maybe actually figure out what's going on before you bitch and whine about 'what we lost'. we avoided eudio v.2. that's it)

Like I said, why we don't have new games, right here. Why people aren't lining up to mod sex games for people like you is a mystery for the ages.

I think my favorite part of this is how they seem to think all this obnoxiousness is somehow magically invisible to anyone that might want to mod the type of kinky sex game they want. When they're doing it in the game ideas thread where a lot of potential new mods look.

They really make the idea of running a game they'd want to join look appealing.

now what sort of stupid idea makes you think i think that? it's a game ideas thread. many people come here. i don't care. every game has some asshole or another in and it's not like i'm going to shit all over a game i'm actually enjoying playing in.

mods and potential mods should know that there's people that want certain things. if the op wanted to make that game they come up with, they were welcome to. i wouldn't have joined, so it's a moot point.

there are people who want certain things, and will throw a tantrum at anyone who presents ideas that don't cater to those wants.

There's wanting things and saying what you want politely and there's being toxic when you don't get catered to exactly the way you want. You say that you wouldn't shit all over a game you enjoy playing in but shitting all over a game idea you're not even interested in joining is fine?

You act like the kind of person that'd start shitting all over the mods and fellow players of a game you were in the second someone started to do something you don't like instead of trying to deal with it constructively. The mod here wasn't thin-skinned, you're just that annoying and an example of what every mod in dwrp is sick of dealing with.

joke's on you, because i don't actually shit stir in games i'm in and i don't bring people up to shit on. a question was asked. i answered. the conversation went on and it's devolved so much from that at the moment. and i've mostly stayed out of it. and yes, the mod was thinskinned in thinking that contradicting opinions is shitting on a game, just like you're thinskinned if you think that me saying 'hey, allowing almost every kink but not this specific one doesn't really make sense and you're basically playing a mashup of all the sex games but not letting in one aspect because you don't like it. fine. don't like it. but don't make up some reason to make it valid.' all op had to say was 'i don't like dubcon/noncon and don't want to deal with it in a game'. bam. but no. everyone has to make up some special secret validation reason why they're right.

If you'd talked that way to a mod or player in a game you'd have been dinged for a warning or strike for how you worded it.

only if the mod's a thinskinned tittybaby. i'll admit this comment and the one before it was a little more abrasive than i normally am, but most of the other comments i left (because they aren't all me) weren't calling them names or being like 'you stupid whore for not doing what i want'. i've said flat out, they can do what they want. they just might not get that big of a pull if they're just like eudio. how that comes across as 'abrasive' to you makes me question your ability to judge tone.
