Rundown:

rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme. Your unfunny, forced memes also fall under this rule.
Do not treat this comm like your personal therapist. Threads about nonfictional suicide, self injury, rape, and abuse will be deleted. There are better resources out there for you.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

i never specifically said no dub/noncon, but i also didn't feel like it was necessary to say it because when we originally talked about getting the characters together, everything sounded mutual and consensual

at first i thought it was just a fluke. sometimes a scene goes tits up and i'm fine with that because it gives their relationship some flavor. i'm even fine with some friction between them growing pains even though it wasn't really what we talked about. that can be fun too! i haven't been in a hurry to hook them up

it keeps not going anywhere though, even though we've talked about them ooc between failed threads. she keeps telling me all about how he'd be so great with mine and he's going to practically jump mine from ust and she can't wait until they finally get together

i get all encouraged by that, start another scene, then it flops again and i'm like fuuuuccckkkk

honestly, at this point i just have to echo everyone else in here and say communicate with them, it's been multiple scenes now with the same result so clearly you two aren't on the same page somewhere. if they're fishing for dubcon/noncon shame on them, but if you didn't tell them no and it's not on your permissions post anywhere i can see how this kind of situation might happen. if people don't see a no, they hope for a maybe

you're not melting down over it so you've already got a leg up on most of us who get into these situations. just pm them, don't leave any room for ambiguity and let come what may. worst case scenario, you two are incompatible and you move on. it's tough but better than wasting another week of replies on a scene that won't give either of you what you want, no?
