Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

oh. well, damn. that makes it even more uncomfortable. sorry about that. i know i've had a few 'let's set up smut threads', but it winds up just not happening because of character clashes, but i'd be pretty pissed if i agreed to a consensual thread and wound up having my partner try to get my char to dubcon/noncon it. sorry, anon.

So it's fine to ask that that their character is inexplicably attracted to yours in order to get the thread rolling, but if they ask you to return the favor and have your character be interested in theirs so the thread will actually work, then it's too hard?

Anon, that's not me. There are multiple other people that have commented to the thread, including other people that have apparently felt the need to try to bolster me up.

But thanks. This help cleared up whether modding was a good idea or not. If this is what I have to look forward to, I guess it's not. Maybe I'll try again later in the future when I have more patience.

Good luck finding mods of new games. If dwrp keeps being this way, where they can't even keep things civil when talking about things in the game-building stage, it's not going to be easy.

Anon, I'm tabling all this for now because the current atmosphere just isn't one I want to mod in. (Your comment is fine, it's been a few of the others).

Number one is definitely what I was going for, so thank you for the suggestion. I'll save it and keep it under my hat if I ever revisit this later.

tbh, what made the original games scary for their time was the forced angles and claustrophobic design of the old per-rendered backgrounds. and like capcom's ever going to go back to that.

some characters can be attracted and yet be reluctant to "go all the way" for whatever reasons. it's not a hard and fast split, and not everyone is thirsting to have you rape their virginal uke

are you playing an aggressive character that is identified by your fandom as having noncon/dubcon elements? that might be part of your problem too

naw it started out as an argument on whether or not a character was nonbinary (who cares) and then it turned into an anon calling people trannies in nearly every thread. just constant "blah blah trannies" to completely unrelated topics. they got no bites, everything got deleted, and then they shitposted over here.

we've been trying to get these characters together for a solid month. we've put them in different scenarios where something could happen. every single one turns in to their character chasing mine away

i'm fine with waiting, but i'm not fine with their character's attitude never changing towards mine. this wasn't supposed to be dubcon in the first place, but i can work with it if i'm given something. there's no development or even introspection that their character likes mine or wants them at all, which isn't what we've talked about when we chat about them

tbh, considering the nature of noncon/dubcon, people who want to play it should be the ones asking their partners first before they just assume it's okay.
