how does most of the player base (and mods, i guess?) feel about jex and phase being here? i've wanted to app for a long time, finally saw a test drive, and then looked over the taken list only for them both to be here when they're banned from almost every game on dw.

since they're still here i assume the mods are allowing it, but i have to wonder how the players feel? i guess it says more if they like both of them and are willing to tag them. sure i might be able to avoid them in the game, but if everyone in the game likes both of them then i would probably be better off not apping.

what i'm trying to ask i guess is how you guys feel about this and have the mods even addressed this at all? do you still have confidence in your mods despite this? would i be able to get around without ever having to hear about the characters those two play? how likely is it the mods will let in other known wankers if they still allow these people in?

if you are worried about the players in the game don't app in. I thought the game looked fun too until I noticed who was in the game. in addition to the old wankers you mentioned they also have several players who could contribute nothing to their tags and who have all their characters sound exactly alike like Lisa she was mentioned on wankgate a few posts ago. in the end its just not worth it anon. maybe someone else will make a cute game idea like this.

i'm worried about 2 out of how many? these are pretty severe wankers and not just people who flake or have bad icons. i don't know who lisa is and i can't say about old wank but if people have moved on and it's old and not hellion/ken and so on style wank i can't see why it would be a problem if they've changed, though i can understand how dealing with someone personally may leave a bad taste in someone's mouth.

the quality of the game seems more easygoing but i know a couple of people and have looked at the test drive and it seemed solid mostly? i might be on the more wordy side but i've never had issues asking people to give me more or being honest with people about their tags and what i want out of rp.

i'd love to see more games like this pop up (preferably that stick with the canon and don't add new things to it or have too much info that makes it convoluted), but i think dw in general is severely lacking in games like this even though so many canons would flourish in them. i was looking for an honest opinion on mod reliability due to those two and if they take precautions to take care of and protect their players. also if their players were really that ok with these people being in their game because if they weren't, then yeah. it's probably not the game for me. i don't want to app in and expect it all to change just for me when everyone else is happy with things as they are. i think that's pretty reasonable.

i didn't come here to bash the game. again, i do agree dwrp could use more cute and fun adventure games like this but i don't think this is the place especially since i'm not looking to start wank and to have a civil discussion that happens to involve wankers.

I've been in the game for sometime and can only personally say I haven't heard of anything involving those players disrupting the player base specifically like being pushy or gross, and from what I see they kind of stick to playing with certain people?

don't actually know either of them so can't really comment on the "are they liked" portion here but I will say that the mods have never given us reason to believe they'd dismiss any players actual concerns

I've been in Melodies for a while now, and we all try to leave our wank at the door. The mods are great, and if anyone went to them with a problem, I have faith that they'd deal with it. The players you mentioned havent brought any of that shut into the game, as far as I can tell, so it has been fine so far.

As someone else mentioned, those players mostly stick with the people they know are chill with tagging with them. It's pretty easy to avoid interacting with people if you want to. There have just been a few events where mods have grouped people up for threads, and they'd work with you if you asked not to be placed with someone else.

But if you're someone who lives for the wank and is looking for excuses to report some to the mods, it would be better to stay out of Melodies. We aren't about the wank, and people who come to stir shit usually get bored and drop before the next app cycle. Save yourself the time abd effort of apping, if that's the case.

So, tl;dr- the mods are not slacking, yoh can avoid the oeoples, but if you're someone who likes to dredge up drama, don't app.

I don't think anyone's trying to dredge up drama, but Jex and Phase are both pretty awful people--including that Phase is very anti-choice, homophobic and racist. Openly so.
