i have no idea what i would do if i couldn't draw my own icons, other than... commission someone that could, i guess. but if you're going the cheapo route, my best suggestion would be to find some anime/movie/show/whatever that isn't popular and has close to what you're looking for, and steal from that. people will forgive you if you're not using something totally iconic/from supernatural.

best route is always to find an artist to capture it for you, though. then it's your own unique thing, and can be made exactly as you pictured it.

Honest truth: I moved to the SW US because of it. Between the depression and some physical issues that caused some weirdness of my fingers going numb at random when it was cold, I couldn't stay somewhere where it was cold six months out of the year.

I sometimes still get it, but at least the past couple of years I had reason to be kinda down in August. A few years back I was having money troubles, last year I was hating my job, this year I've been having a shit week this week, to the point that my boss even told me to take today off.

anon last post who was thinking about joining an ij oc game got me interested in checking out ij panfandom games. (i don't know how that anon found them, but i stalked back from an icon journal to a player journal and through their muselist to games, and then through taken character lists to other muselists, to other games, ad nauseam. rpg_ads has some panfandom games too.) on one hand, a few of them have lower acs than our games (eg. one thread with at least four tags from you), which is just what i need in my life right now. on the other hand, i can't stop laughing at the manipped live action pbs for non-la characters.

fucking eyeliner, how does it work?

I feel like if I could just learn how to use eyeliner correctly I could have a pretty simple, nice makeup routine to make myself feel nice, but I feel like my makeup looks so unfinished without it that I get really discouraged about using any makeup and I just can't figure out how to make it work. I've tried liquid, some sort of gel in a pot with a brush (but I never know if I'm using the correct brush), pencils, etc. I've watched makeup tutorials but they tend to assume you already have all the correct tools and know the basics already. And my mom was a tomboy growing up so she's no help.

TL;DR - I just need the easiest and most simple way to put on eyeliner and then I can finally achieve a mediocre but useable makeup look someone help

oh, i just commented going on and on about my love of eyeliner.

have you tried using just a plain pencil? liquid is great for getting fancy but simple and fast often looks just as good. pencils are cheap, get a nice deep black charcoal color.

i put a little bit at the corners of my eyes and bring it up around the top eyelid and stop about halfway. i don't like overdoing it, just something to open up the eye and make it look a little bigger/more feminine. i do the same for the bottom eyelid, but again just a faint little line to help define your eye.
