Is there a nice way to advise someone to drop a game? This person has been whining on plurk about how they don't fit into the game, don't like the premise or the plot, don't like certain members of their cast, etc. They were recently critted on their lack of activity by some anons and had a meltdown on plurk about it. When offered suggestions on how to integrate into the game, they brush them aside in order to complain further and it's making multiple people really uncomfortable to witness. They've been in game all of two months and have been on extended hiatus three times already. I barely know them so I'm not sure how to approach them about this in a way that doesn't come across at completely douchey. Any advice would be welcome. At this point, I'll probably end up talking to them about it with my name attached, but I would appreciate advice on what to say.

Sometimes I worry if I may be one of the Creepy Male Players people complain about because I become interested in tagging the same types they do. When they were all around I would read an entry in TLH and decide to tag, but when I got in there it would be Mike, Final, That Bison/Joker, Professor Derp and That Alph in there before I could.

I don't think I'm a creep because I never violate prefs, communicate OOCly a lot and play a wider variety of character types and scenarios than they do. But what makes a lot of those guys so creepy is that they don't think they're creeps. Makes me wonder if I've fallen into that trap.

Greg Strife, Cloud's adopted brother. He was also a ghost, so healing items and magic hurt him which was what I used as the justification of why he was so incredibly overpowered. His weapon was a giant bone torn out of the super secret most powerful of the Weapons, Devil Weapon. Which he beat only with the help of his Mog sidekick, Moggy. WHO WAS SUPER CUTE AND A POWERFUL WIZARD.

Since at the time what I knew of FF7 I had gathered by intermittently watching my big brother play it, I had such a shoddy grasp of the story I just bluffed like fuck about how he fit into anything. No one ever called me on it.
