rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

aight lets break this shit down since im a big lp fan and a lot of these are going to cover folks who do a lot of nintendo stuff. I AM ALSO SO SORRY FOR THE TL;DR, i thought it would be nice to at least give a good rundown of some of these guys so you wouldnt just go barreling in without any knowhow on what these guys do. i also bolded the names for easier read though.

protonjonsa is a great dude. he doesnt update as often because of the fact that hes been doing a lot of stuff for numerous different collaborative lps and the works, like the runawayguys, which ill talk about them too since i enjoy all of their lps and ill talk about the project as well. BUT BACK TO JON. jons stuff is really great, i love his mario rom hacks that he doesn't actually get to anymore, and his superman 64 videos.

nintendocaprisun is one that i like mainly because he has a really good attitude, and is an older lper. a lot of his fans and fellow lpers think of him as like "the uncle of gaming" or smth like that, but he's really nice and junk like that even if he makes a lot of mistakes in some of his lps like CONKERS BAD FUR DAY oh godddd

chuggaaconroys lps are nice because he takes a lot of editing into his videos and all that, esp. in the pokemon lps. hes played through a lot of them and his voice acting is actually pretty dang nice? though really i havent been following his lps for a while and im not sure how different things are, but theyre probably not that different at all considering its him.

therunawayguys, which is composed of protonjon, chuggaaconroy and nintendocaprisun and usually has a guest star if its a 4 player game, which is another collaborative lper. its a nice one if you enjoy those three guys together, even though SOMETIMES i just. dont enjoy their voices meshing together or their humor? idk idk. (Jons voice is okay, but Chugga and NCS' voice gets on my fucking nerves if put together, even though at the same time NCS' voice also gets on my nerves A LOT. But I still enjoy his lps.)

clementj642 is one that i found while looking at nintendocaprisun's megaman videos. he was also doing the lp on the entire megaman series at the time and i enjoyed the hell out of his videos. right now hes doing sonic games, and i just really enjoy his stuff because its filled with a lot of information that makes me go "OH MAN THATS NEAT" you know trivia stuff. he absolutely loathes sonic 06 though so hes currently doing a huge dissection of it, but i think its almost done?

... plus he has a really great laugh omfg.

if youre looking for a nice voice while watching horror lps, agentjr is literally my favourite one. he has a really calming voice and it was the only way i was able to get through watching the silent hill series for the first time.

frankomatic does a lot of obscure gaming, he plays older or less... well, mainstream shit that everyone else lps to death. i've found out a lot of new games that he's lped because of this. but he's one of the ones that's slowed down a little bit more? but eh. he's been around for 6 years on youtube, so... yeah. hahaa.

the gamegrumps are more comedy-eccentric. they're two hilarious dudes sitting around playing video games, especially the ones that get sent in. ive learned about a few games and they sometimes go deep in some of the things they discuss but a lot of its mainly drawn out humor. their co-op games are really good, and the vs games are pretty good too. goof troop, banjo kazooie, megaman, and the vs games are all my favourites so far.

honourable mentions to: penguinz0 (Cr1TiKaL), vinesauce (though these guys are better to go into their streams since they dont really upload much actual content to their youtube channels, and there's multiple streamers at a time so it's... really better to go into the site itself and watch them if you're able to. they do a lot of stuff that you can see for yourself), two best friends (because seriously i dont really enjoy them all too well but they ARE pretty damn great at times) and others mentioned in the thread already.

also vinesauce is like 4-5 differnet people, but vinesauce is ran by vinny... who is vinesauce.
