'm looking for a game for either a connor or haytham kenway from assassin's creed iii. I plan to actually app only around the beginning of december, so for now I would love suggestions to lurk about in and prepare for!

preferences
♦ slow to medium paced games.
♦ simple ac requirements.
♦ no sex games, please!
♦ cast mates aren't a must, although having them would be a great bonus.
♦ backtag friendly playerbase. i backtag into oblivion.
♦ something action oriented, or a game that offers times to get into action. i'd love to play out some combat, assassinations, or hunting scenarios!

ryansgulch might be the place for you then? sadly we don't have assassin creed castmates at the moment. :( but we're slowly going towards some exciting things in terms of plot since we're set before rapture war and things are heating up. the game is set in the world of bioshock, meaning there are crazy splicers npcs to fight against!

the pace is slow, few posts a day, and everyone that i've been threading with are very very backtag friendly. the ac is also easy to get if you're, again, backtag friendly since they allow you to link to a thread that was done, say, october for november if the linked thread has enough comments from november to qualify.

! It's not too fast, and everyone has been great about backtagging with me so far. Monthly horror events would be pretty good for action and showing off them skills. There are a bunch of AC characters already in game (Altaïr and Malik), freshly accepted (Ezio and Desmond) or on reserve (Aveline and Connor)!

While Connor is on reserve, Haytham is still open and this anon would love to see him have to deal with a city full of ridiculous assassins almost as much as she'd love to see them try to deal with a templar grand master with assassin training. (havenrpg)

NARUTO @ Route 29!

route_29 is a medium-paced journal-based game with a warm atmosphere and friendly player-base. Even with Sasbutt here, I had no problems getting new CR to play with and felt really welcomed into the game! Set in the Johto Region (though with all current pokemon less legendaries generally available), you can have your character choose to train, breed, or just have fun with their pokemon. For your more nefarious characters (or not, depending on what you want to do with them) there is also the option of Team Rocket. I would highly recommend the Rocket side as it seems like as a whole they're always plotting something to stir things up and keep Route from becoming entirely a slice-of-life game, and we can always use more 'bad guys'. Seriously, there are all kinds of scams and espionage going on, I eventually want to app another character here as a Rocket because of it. Getting off-topic though.

I'm looking for somewhere to play a Traveller from the game Journey. So essentially a place that allows what I suppose would be classed as a fandom OC.

There are actually a lot of games that'll accept that sort of character. Is there a particular kind of game you're looking for?

jarjammed'll take them! It's generally medium-paced (I think it tends towards the fast side) but has its fast days (usually during events) and its slower ones (usually right after them). It's based on SBURB from Homestuck but you don't need to be even remotely familiar with it; everything is outlined for you.

Can I get some game recommendations for a humanoid robot character from a really obscure canon? A futuristic/modern setting would be nice, but I'm more concerned about finding a LCW-friendly game that isn't too huge or fast for me. Other robot characters would also be awesome.

Hello! I've been playing James Bond over at capeandcowl for the better part of the past three years now and I'd love to get some canonmates before the year is over. CnC will be opening apps on November 19th for one week and then not again until the new year, so I thought I'd slip this ATP in while I still could. 
 


capeandcowl is a game set in an alternate universe with a whole planet to explore. Your characters can have up to three superpowers or a "blanket ability." The AC is pretty lax at the combination of any two of the following (including repeats) per month: a post which you actively participate in, a thread of fifteen or more comments, and/or a log thread done in any style with three comments or more in it.
 


His current canon pull-point is just before the start of Skyfall but I plan on canon updating him a few times up until he's post-film. I would particularly like an M and a Silva, but I'm not picky. We also have a Vesper Lynd in game and a current player has Eve on reservation.

preferably a medium paced game with a relatively easy ac and a backtag friendly playerbase. castmates would be awesome, but definitely not necessary. and usually i'm okay with sex games, but i'd rather not stick him in one.

I know this is a shot in the dark, but I recently picked up Bowser at route_29 and would love to see other Mario characters! It doesn't even matter who. Bowser Jr, Mario, Peach, Yoshi, Luigi, or even obscure chars like Smithy, Rawk Hawk, Prince Peasley... I think there's a lot of potential, especially when it comes to the RPG canons!

Bowser here is taken from early Paper Mario, but I also use Super Mario RPG as canon as well as the major titles such as Super Mario World and Mario 64.

Looking for a game that
-allows OCs as first characters
-is actually plot based and lets the players influence things to some extent. Alternatively a game that is worldbuilding/exploration based.
-is not a jamjar and/or has no network

Most games I see are jamjars of the "you are in situation X, and can't do much about it" kind. My preference is for more open games. Examples I liked were:

-A game that had the game be set in a nexus between worlds, all gates were open, people could return, and the plot would be about something dangerous affecting all worlds, giving characters a prompt to actually stay here by choice, return for a while, have PC-run missions into various worlds, and so on. It was cool having Samus Aran, Starbuck and Jack o'Neill run a rescue mission into Shinra HQ.

-A jamjar game that was set in a gigantic castle, the gameplay was mostly based on the riddles of the castle and getting to places, less on the usual events players couldn't do much about. Most of this was created by the players themselves.


Does something like this exist? I've looked through dozens of games now, that's why I ask here.
