Awwww, Zia! ♥ I don't play from Bastion, but it's one of my favorite games. We'd love to have you in castle_perrault! It's a dressing room, so the pace is pretty variable, but we've had a couple of cool little plots so far and everyone's open to pretty much anything.

Games for villains?

Looking for a good game for a villain character. I'm not interested in running a bunch of big villain plots or anything like that, but a game where a villain character could get a decent mix of positive and negative CR even if they're not the type to hide their past would be nice. Something where the game either has a bunch of villain characters already, or where the circumstances mean that most characters don't really care if someone was a bit of a baddie back home. Or anything else you can think of! Basically I just don't want another game where my character will be stuck with 99% negative CR as soon as their past comes out. Negative CR is great but playing ONLY negative CR is exhausting.

Unfortunately I'm not really interested in the monster transformation aspect of Ryslig, so I wouldn't really want to app there.

empatheias might work. There's actually a good number of villains around whose pasts are known and characters are fine with this. Casts don't tend to go around outing a villain and it's usually agreed upon that what matters is how they act in game.

If you like sex games, carvaka is great. The PC community is small, but a lot of the characters have shady pasts and are varying degrees of open about it.

I'm currently on the hunt for a home for General Hux from TFA. I'm not too fussed about AC or pace but I have a slight leaning towards space and adventure/mission based games. I don't think he'd do well in slice or life or a sex game but anything else I've got an open ear about.

FAIRY TAIL @ TANAGURA

Figured this was as good of a place as any to poke around.

Currently, I play Erza Scarlet (this journal) from Fairy Tail in the plot-driven sci-fi 18+ smut game, tanagura. In Tanagura, characters are divided by caste based on hair color. As of a player-driven plot event several months ago, the castes have been flipped and characters with white, silver, pink, red, and blonde hair are now mongrels, where black, brown, blue, green, and purple-haired individuals are considered to be elite. Characters are allowed to join factions and participate in events which change the outcome of certain events as well as future events, and upon completing certain activity requirements, are given the option of plot clues to help advance the story.

The game has recently switched over to a bi-monthly app schedule, and so apps/test drive will be opening up in May, and then every other month after that (July, September, November, etc.) Reserves are always open. The test drive meme is something of a mini event, counts for AC, and gives a good idea of how game events generally go. Examples can be found here! Test drive starts May 3rd and apps open May 5th.

AC is pretty standard and easy (5+ log comments, 10+ network comments, so on and so forth), with smut ac being required every other month (new players are exempt from AC their first month).

As I mentioned, I currently play Erza Scarlet, and she's a LCW at the moment. I'd love to have most of her canonmates! It would make her really happy (or upset her, depending on who it was...) But I'm particularly interested in Gray Fullbuster, Natsu Dragneel and Lucy Heartfilia. As far as canonpoints, Erza is taken right after the events of the Grand Magic Games, mangaverse, chapter 342.

I have an obscure character who is essentially an anarchist, who could be viewed as a hero or villain depending on context. I'd really like to find a game where there is structure to the world that can be rebelled against, because I think without having that element, the character will get very flat and not have much to do. What I'd love is a game with a bit of structure, but one that isn't incredibly fast and will be welcoming to an obscure character who will probably never have any castmates.

i have a horror movie protag and i'm looking to send them to an appropriate place. what are the good/best horror games right now? bonus points for very doable AC but im more concerned about game quality, been out of the loop for a while.

hadriel may be a good choice. it's got a fairly easy ac, a consistent plot that characters have some control over, and the mods have always been fairly timely, even when on personal hiatuses.
