Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for fictional character role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

i find discord one-on-one (not servers, fuck those) to be a lot better than plurk for curating my experience. i talk to people directly, don't see who they interact with, and don't get fomo from rp or memes or anything even when i am usually good at not giving into temptation. if i feel anyone doesn't fit me, then i can just bow out of it without involving others.

the only times i ever had a falling out with someone on discord was also because of plurk, because they looked at my activity with other people or vice versa. people i only ever had on discord only are still people i talk to until this day.

i find servers no different from plurk and even find it harder to keep up with, plus some of the worst people i met showed their asses there and not plurk.
