he also does a lot of harmless weirdo stuff and for a long time that was usually the context where people started complaining about him. when every time you hear about him it's in the same sentence as the boring guy with the water spirit oc, you start tuning it out.

I think for a long time I - and possibly others, idk - didn't want to say anything just in case my experience with him was somehow unique, or I just happened to play a character he was particularly weird about and he was otherwise nice. Back then his plurklist was huge and we shared a lot of mutual friends.

But then I learned that any time he's told "no," or that he's not welcome in a space, or that people aren't comfortable with him that he throws a fit. That it's always "someone else's fault," and that people are "unfair" with him. Like complaining that he was banned from Sinfluencers because the players there told the mod that they wouldn't be comfortable with sharing a space with him. And when thinking on his discourteous lack of content or trigger warnings and the way he 'skirts around' preferences or insists on the "ask forgiveness, not permission" approach? I can't really blame them.
