Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for fictional character role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

ngl these days i'm not even frustrated people lie anymore, i'm just surprised they don't do it better

like if you're saying you can't tag anyone because the house just fell over your head, maybe don't keep logging every tag you boomerang in the plurk thread tracker where you have pinged half your plurklist

i wish it was more socially acceptable for people to tell (and accept) the truth, which is usually that they would just rather tag their friends or people they like

"sorry for my other threads i would rather just boomerang with this person for a few days" is usually what they actually mean

yep. but unfortunately far too many people want to have their cake and eat it, and they refuse to be this transparent about their tagging because they know their thread partners will answer in kind and also deprioritize threading with them.

i'd probably just give it a pass if it's one or two people because i know the feeling of not being able to brain the rest of my tags but hyperfocusing on one or two and needing them complete so i can focus again.

if you see them tagging around with a bunch of people though and say that to you, or blatantly ask for tags in plurk or server after telling you they can't muster energy for tags, i'd drop their ass.

even had very close, years long cr friends do this. why???
