This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. it fucking sucks because like, yeah lmao i am severely mentally ill and on multiple psychiatric medications! i'm pretty sure plenty of people in dwrp are at least a little bit mentally ill and at least a little bit medicated for it! and it kind of sucks to hear the same kind of tired-ass "ohoho someone is behaving badly, stupidly, or in a way i disapprove of, on the internet, this means they're in need of psychiatric medicine clearly, ohohoho, let us point our fingers and laugh" ableism, in the space i go to for fun and escapism, even if it's not aimed at me directly

like yeah man nobody cares or whatever, i need to touch grass, sure, i don't disagree. it just gets to me

listen anon i get it as a fellow crazy

but a lot of the behavior here does smack of untreated mental illness particularly mood disorders. i say that because i used to participate in these stupid slap fights too until i found the courage to get proper help and medications. and being called out on my shit? helped me. it was unpleasant to be inside my own mind all the time hating myself. so i took it out on others which made me unpleasant to be around. and the cycle repeated itself over and over

so it's a little bit of a and a little bit of b. i wish anons weren't so gung ho about throwing it as an insult BUT ALSO yeah a lot of this behavior is neuroatypical and i can't blame people for getting fed up of it particularly when we all got something going on head wise
