Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for fictional character role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

game discords are universally terrible and i'd never recommend trying to do your plotting there. use plurk.

Game discords are usually made up of the same seven people apologizing over and over again for not getting to their tags and swearing this month will be the one they finally get on it and become active. And about six more people who will toss out ideas but never actually commit to actually writing out any of that plotting. To be fair, game discords are fun places to post fandom stuff like art pieces, post game in-jokes, post top-levels that people have actually put up, and get prompt responses to questions you don't want to bother the mods with but as far as getting actual RPing done? It's far better to approach people directly every time.

I'm just thankful the entire DWRP playerbase seems to be beyond that keysmashing "tueisdkjeRKEJDMD I R SO WHACKY!!!! XD XD XD" phase that was prominent there for a while. Seeing everyone regress to acting like twelve year olds on AIM was tiring and not for me at all.

one of my game discords is like this, yeah, but the other one has been nothing but a good time and i'm genuinely glad we have it. weird.
