This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Distant Skies! a dæmons game that had the daemons of lyra's world in a cittagazze world, where casually opening windows into other worlds wrecked things so it was empty of adults. I liked hte "antijamjar" aspect where the window home was still there and time passed and that meant visiting other canons and sometimes stuff got super changed, I think dæmons are fun, there was an auxiliary animorph who'd give people the morphing power, etc. I get that it died out but I real regret that then the mods privated all the info pages (there was some good stuff there!) and later deleted the comms.

for distant skies reaching the game setting meant passing out and waking up with a dæmon, which people back home couldn't see or hear unless they also came through. there was no settling period which I always thought was a shame!

i was in that game too! i loved the concept of it so much, especially the ability to just visit other worlds.

Ah, that was the name.

I remember there being a HDM/daemons game, way back when, and really wanted to join it, only to find it closed, but had long since forgotten its name.

Pretty sure I remember seeing that one animorph, too.
