Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Not sure if this belongs here but I wanted to vent a bit. And it is kind of a woe. Some time back I played with a character of someone I don't normally talk to, and never really had CR with, so I thought it'd be cool to get new CR, and I thought they didn't like me (they always had some hostility towards me because my character was in the beginnings of a relationship with the canon character theirs liked). So one day they proposed some 'fun' rivalry/conflict RP which I agreed to it, for conflict RP. I suspect that the idea for conflict RP was not in good faith as she proceeded to manipulating the scene so that my character - which is normally weak and dainty - somehow managed to /murder/ her character (for the DWAMA) during the fight. I never agreed to kill her, and had never written my tags as such. However after that she made it a very "I'm the victim that mean girl killed me I need comforting" situation which left me feeling incredibly shitty and I wish I had had the spine back then to call her out or ask for a retcon as it almost made me stop RPing.

I have since learned what to do in that situation but conflict RP makes me feel sick to my stomach when it's with a stranger now and I wanna get over that because sometimes it can be fun.
