Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not post personal information. This includes but is not limited to full names, addresses, phone numbers and so on.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.

as long as you WANT to do it and have a way to safely do it, i'd be intrigued (i do not totally understand this new plurk feature if i'm honest) but definitely take care of yourself first. i don't think anyone is perfect but i've always found your rulings to be fair and like i said, i'm grateful you're willing to put in the time to run the emp meme! it's something i look forward to monthly and i doubt it's easy to handle, so thank you for that.

I would like to set one up. It'd be nice for it to exist for the community and there absolutely is risk for someone who's been a problem for the community setting something up. And the dwrpmasterlist and emp don't usually take that much time, so I've got some to burn.

I'll think about how to start but I think first step will be maybe commenting with a new header on rpa asking if people want it and also if they'd want me to be the one to set it up. And maybe also a plurk on the emp plurk asking the same thing so people can also see and respond on plurk itself.

If it seems like a solid number of people do, the next step would be discussing a modding policy with people to make sure the way I'd want to mod would be compatible with everyone's needs, figuring out how to get emp plurk's karma up, setting up the plurk with the required likes, etc.

NA - I would love to see you set it up! I would not be comfortable with the DWRP plurk mod doing it, just because Takhys has a known history of problem behaviour and plenty of game bans, DNIs, etc. You're kind of our other big plurk, and I'd be happy to help with karma boosting and a coin if it would allow you to use the EMP plurk itself rather than deanon.

I'm all for giving people a second chance. I know a lot of the old "hocave" clique of bullies have grown up and either been on good behaviour or are so contained in Fade Rift it doesn't matter.

But Takhys was then banned from Duplicity, and then when they were in The Ton two years ago they aired complaints they had already been saying in private on WG (the series of events that lead to Rebutle getting banned because they were the presumed culprit), and then Takhys was also banned from Rubilykskoye (I believe they are the only player to have been in the game and then banned from rejoining, which means they're also behind certain anon complaints.) There are also times they've simply blacklisted a game from being boosted on the DWRP plurk without explanation.

So for me it's less about their past than the fact that they haven't changed or improved and continue to be a problem player.

The mods are crap but Takhys dropped because the mods wouldn't change a game mechanic so Takhys could do what they wanted. There were plenty of other ic ways to go about it but they didn't get what they wanted and dropped.

I can at least promise that if people heard my real handle, for most of them, their first response would most likely be "who?"

Give me a day or two and I'll set up some places to poll people on if they want me to do it and move on from there.
