I'd like to explore psls with crosscanon ships! I'm playing Megumi, ofc. The crosscanon ship I've had in mind for a while is Megumi with Legosi Beastars.

I'm also terribly, terribly fond of Josuke JJBA and Kon-El DC Comics. I will give anything a go if the chemistry is right. He meshes well with kind people but he's great with spicy/problem people as well.

Please hit me up if you have a crosscanon and want to mash our babies! Happy to age him up and explore AUs. My preference is M/M.

You might enjoy Pumpkin Hollow (

pumpkinhollow ), which has demons and goddesses and abyssal entities causing chaos on an island community where no one's been able to die for over 5 years.

...and also, making your own little Stardew Valley farm so people have things to eat is an available and encouraged role for characters to take on, with some farmers even discovering plot-relevant stuff while digging in their fields. As for adult content, two PCs have jobs as adult entertainers, minor demons showed up to seduce everyone at the spring festival-type event, and there's been a couple instances of cannibalism.

There's a good deal of plot to explore and chew on, and PCs have an effect on things happening (and can choose who to align with among mortal NPCs and the gods and demons), but the relationship building is pretty explicitly part of how you're expected to handle things.

A "TDM reprint" of the March TDM will go up in the next couple days.

do i do so in bed with laptop/ipad setup that requires 100 plugs and precarious positioning of satin case pillows that will slip and slide

or do i suck it up and sit at the pc/dual monitor setup that is more efficient but isn't bed

yeah I think like all the grisha players do this. I've not seen a show-verse character in a long time but many book-verse characters using the show PBs because they're majority great casting.

but lots of people use whatever PB suits the book description no matter what, and if that happens to be the movie/tv casting, that's that. it only weirded me out when it was using movie casting that didn't match the book description at ALL for their ostensibly bookverse character

if you TL a meme and someone tags in with a character you're not interested in or doesn't line up with your prefs (for ex. you're playing a LA and don't want to be tagged by anyone but other LA's and an anime character tags you), what's the best way to handle it?

I don't just wanna completely stay silent and want to say something but I also don't want to be rude and am kind of a dumbass when it comes to this stuff. Can I say something like "Sorry but I'm not interested!" or does that come off too passive aggressive/shitty?

fwiw it has 0 to do with the writer specifically and just boils down to me not being interested in the character/medium. ordinarily I'd just ignore the tag but it feels hella bad + I don't want that person to feel bad if they see me ignoring their tag and responding to others.

i'm sorry, i don't practice what i preach.........i transcribe manually but i'd never be brave enough to do it with a on screen keyboard (the backspace is too real)

If you put no animus and they tagged you with an animu, that's bad on their part.

If you didn't specify no iron mans and they tagged you with Tony stank it'd be courteous to let them know.

actually wait i take that back, i did auto it once for a subbed series by ripping the subs. that isn't manual (it is a pain in the ass tho cause no character names so like, you gotta go back and add them)

just don't reply. everyone flakes on memes. but if you have strong preferences about who tags you, you should really have that information readily available on a permissions post in your character journal or in your top level comment. if you post top levels to memes and you don't have that information, everyone will assume you are totally open to being tagged by whoever and whatever.

if it was a short tag (text, quick and dirty few lines of a starter), it's not that it's NOT rude to flake, but that it's common enough that people aren't going to be mad. people are used to being flaked on, they're not used to being contacted and told why.

if someone wrote you a long starter then it would be rude to flake. it still happens, but people will remember it, unlike if it was just in a texting meme or whatever.

again this can all be avoided with a permissions post.

kind of disingenuous, anon. ignoring all the bonding they do in season three, it's silly not to mention their interaction during the s2 finale. katara IS one-note pissed at him until zuko mentions that he's also lost his mom, and he reveals that he wants to be his own person and do better.

this is after we've seen him change and grow in s2. katara makes the (ultimately correct) read, and even at that point i don't think iroh ever so blatantly suggests that he could rebel and fight against the fire nation.

then ofc there's the bit with his scar. she literally touches it in a tender sort of way and is on the cusp of healing it with her special magic water. then when she leaves with aang she gives him this sad, contemplative look over her shoulder.

like op i new zutara wasn't actually going to manifest, but there's some good stuff there. the drama is fun and interesting and the ship didn't just come out of nowhere.
