Hey hey KYWTP, who wants to go to hell with me? Looking to play the younger party in these, and I don't... really have any minimum age boundary?

A couple of prompts, feel free to mix and match as needed, I'm fine with m/f or f/f for all of them except the first.

* A (Incest, Oneeloli, Underage/Underage?) - Two sisters have a good agegap between them, and also have a sexual relationship. I'm fine with any real agegap, at least 5 years, so like 13-18 or some such, but more is fine by me. The younger party could be 100% on board, or maybe it's a little more molest-y, but I don't want any hard noncon.

* B (Step-incest, non/dub-con) - Step-parent molests their stepdaughter. I'm fond of a "if you don't agree I'll do something terrible to your parent" sort of blackmailing dubcon but good old-fashioned noncon is also fun too.

* C (Grooming, manipulation) - An older trusted figure realizes that a younger girl has a huge age-inappropriate crush on them. Rather than discouraging it, they instead encourage it to manipulate her into sexual encounters.

* D (Kidnapping, noncon, sex slave, prostitution, drug use) - Okay this is the really dark one. A really fucked up person kidnaps a girl and holds her as their personal sex slave, using drugs and other tools (hypnotism? brainwashing?) to eventually break her into a compliant and "willing" partner. And then they start pimping her out to others for money.

Anyway, these are all terrible prompts, I'm aware, so come sin with me!

people shit on actionspam rp'ers all the time for their short replies not providing "good writing" in a "writing hobby," so i definitely have gotten the impression that at least SOME people think that this "longer toplevel/tag = better quality" thing is true. (ime this kind of thing mostly gets out of hand in event toplevels, where i see people padding out posts with tons of introspection so that the toplevel… looks sufficiently high-effort? or something?)

let me simplify my post

where are the people calling "stream-of-consciousness journalling with fandom character names attached" good writing

language evolves so i’m not going to try to get into nitty gritty of what is and isn’t a word, but “themself” or “themselves” would have been more standard here. shrug.

no one who thinks that kind of writing is good uses that description for what they're doing, so I don't think we're likely to get very far with this, by that standard

i was simply reflecting how i do see a fair amount of like. anecdotal evidence? that, if nothing else, a decent number of people think not including lengthy navelgazey stuff is bad writing. but i also was "weigh hands" about it since it's not like the vast majority of dwrp'ers are out here claiming to be literary geniuses regardless.

Watching people on my plurk friends list befriend and praise someone who did something really awful to me. They don't know what she did, but it still sucks hard. I want to call it out but that'd make me the crazy person.

made an exception and added some people on discord earlier than i normally would, and now i regret it. lesson learned, next time i'm sticking to my antisocial ways.

I want to pick up a Dune character based on the movies, but truly feel I need to read the first book to do basic justice to them, understand the tech, the wider socio-political milieu, etc. Unfortunately, the book so far is a slog and I think it's going to take me a long time to finish. I wish I had the confidence or whatever to just jump in and try to rp but I'm too afraid of potential castmates reading my tags and thinking I'm shit lol.

it's such a pain

it sounds as if exploring novelty items is part of what galvanizes their rp drive, and while they're still able to be a reliable and consistent partner to you (18 months is a great run!), you'll have to accept that your threads are not going to command the same type of enthusiasm from them. that's not to say your threads are inferior, but if you're interested in someone who can boomerang with you regularly, they might not be the one, unless you're willing to join them in their new fandoms. i'm sorry, op! you're perfectly valid in feeling a little wistful, but i think you should take comfort that you're a cherished rp partner, if they keep coming back to you.

idk man, that means i've scammed every creative writing professor i've ever had into thinking i'm good in some way other than writing rp for a decade or so

although granted a lot of their criticism used to revolve around my work not having a sense of setting or exteriority. i solved that by getting acting lessons and smashing my face against objectwork until i got a hang of a setting serving characterization and vice versa.

I don't need to boomerang - I can't most of the time - but I'm just bummed they keep asking for things, and I get hyped, we make plans, and then nothing happens. I should adjust my expectations, and just accept my threads don't command the same type of enthusiasm, like you said. I'm super happy they've stayed consistent with our psl, and that should be enough.
