So the ultimate goal is to become a librarian. I've worked in two libraries and I'm looking for a job at a new one currently!

When I feel this way, I try to remember how much I loved whatever it was they did, and how that will continue to inspire the next few generations as well. Doesn't make the pain go away entirely but knowing how many kids are still reading Dragon Ball Z makes me feel a little bit better. Plus be I try to be thankful that there's ones who are still around. I'm glad every day James Earl Jones and Harrison Ford are still alive.

speaking as a former mod who also modded a game solo for around 2 years: modding is exhausting and can be unrewarding at times, but trek has been known for being reactive and abrasive for years before they became a mod. burnout is no excuse for being rude to your players

Trek has been like this for years and has never learned a thing so I don't know why anyone is remotely surprised. There's no burnout here, they're just an asshole.

i think just about everyone i've vibed with on a writing level has a tendency to go for challenging scenes, so it's definitely something i should reach out to them for! sending you confident energy from across the internet. get at those threads! i've never seen them, but they are amazing and you should feel good about them :)

I haven't done this exactly, but I have brought in some of my lcw characters' canonmates into psl and meme scenes with other players as NPCs, usually for just a few tags in a longer thread.

Partly for the challenge of writing more than one character at once, but also because how a character acts around different people can help show different aspects of their personality.

Buuuut I still feel like I'm sometimes doing the same thing as this, or trying to DM a 1-on-1 campaign instead of co-write a PSL.

Done this a few times. Mainly to kill time and try to get some form of creative juices flowing. Can also help when experimenting with a character. Or characters.

Mmm, no shit? Think of a casual sneaker brand with no arch support, but an iconic look. People between 13-30 would like that brand to be more comfortable to wear, because it has no arch support. This was from a 30-market in-home use test, where they tried the current sneaker and a version redesigned for more comfort.

As for most interesting, there was a type of study we did where we created personas for different key demographics for a product or service. Like, you have the young mother in the suburbs, and then the empty nester who’s not tech savvy, and then the older couple who loves to travel, and here’s the messaging and needs for each of those. We did that type of study for solar energy, for a local music venue, for a digital home security firm. And that gave us room to be creative and name each segment, make a little collage to try to communicate to the client who they are.

For commercial lines, not private clients.

I've worked everything from stage productions to live festivals to normal business conferences.
