The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. nah, if they were pushing for cr with them and complaining if they didn't get it, you would be right. ayrt just said if they see them skipping over tags then they will save them both time by not tagging in the first place. i think that actually shows more maturity. they are just scrolling on by, like everyone says to do.

youre not entitled to somebody's time just because you tagged their toplevel and they are perfectly within their rights to ignore your tag-in if theyre not interested and you look unhinged for thinking otherwise

If I see a bunch of comments not replied to on a top-level, I usually take that as a sign that the player is not tagging at this current moment and will skip over them in favor of other people who either are tagging at the time I tag in or who don't have many tag ins to their top level.
