The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. like you realize if the thread didnt start it isnt flaking, right? that there's zero expectation for a thread when it hasnt even properly started yet?

you realize that just feeling like you should be entitled to a thread and that you label the fact that your first tag-in got ignored "flaking" is, in and of itself, evidence of your entitlement, right?

i think its weird and entitled to call it flaking when someone ignores tags they never asked for to begin with and to vow to avoid them because the concept that you might also get ignored is too much to handle

people are free to pick and choose the tags they want to reply to, no one is arguing otherwise. actually?? if anything that’s what people are arguing just for the opposite side

but ok it seems like your issue is with the term flake, maybe? if someone gets a tag and doesn’t wanna respond to it so skips it, that’s okay. doesn’t mean they’re a flake. but if someone else sees it and decides they don’t wanna gamble with their time cause it makes the person look unreliable that’s ok too. i don’t think any of this is deeper than that

Even if you think it's a dumb reason, anon is just choosing who they want to play with, just like you're choosing who to play with. The fact that you think one is fine and the other is unreasonable paints this bizarre picture where you have free reign but everyone else HAS to tag you or they're being "weird and entitled".
