Rundown:

rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Why not just do a whole jamjar setting-ish thing so you can hide the canon blindness?

There aren't really a lot of jamjar-ish memes, though, and only a handful of them ever get any significant action. It seems like the vast majority of non-TFLN memes are either shipping/smut focused or the kind of gen that would work best with a little assumed CR or shared background (even if it's as simple as "both of these characters are university students.") When there are 100 characters on a meme I'm probably not going to check each journal for character info that may or may not be there.

I'd kinda like to see a crosscanon-specific version of the random scenario meme or AU meme where you have to put a 1-2 sentence description of your character in the top level.

Something like ‘you know what grinds my gears?’ The meme, where characters open with a rant.

You laugh you lose, the meme.

The showing off meme, probably a better name for it, where the characters demonstrate something cool (in their opinion) they can do in the opener.

I've been wanting an "angry on the Internet" meme for ages.

i like the reddit-ish memes in theory but in practice they always attract weirdos and projection. not sure why.
