Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.
Shut up about Tumblr. If it's not a discussion about Tumblr RP it will be deleted.

anons, has any of you used the anonymous option on ao3 to post your fic? how does it work? do I still get notifs for kudos/comments/etc? does it still appear on my settings to edit? is the only difference that people can see who wrote it and it won't appear o my profile?

So I haven't personally published anything on anon myself, but I know someone in my fandom who does, and they comment back on those fics, so I presume they must be getting comment notifications! I would think it's like what you're speculating, and you edit/etc the fic as normal, it just isn't attributed to your account to other viewers in any way.

I think you can still edit it but i dont remember getting notifs for ones ive posted anonymously

yes you can still get notifs for comments & kudos. you can also edit your fic. it's treated as part of an "anonymous" collection that you can remove from and re-add whenever you wish

i have a crush on a good friend I met through rp :( we're friends beyond rp now though.

im sure my feelings won't be reciprocated and it's not worth ruining the friendship. it sucks.

anyone else experience this? anyone have luck confessing? any words of warning to get me out of this funk?

if you confess and they don't feel the same way it will nuke the friendship

find something else to do/think about. talk to other people. it's normal to feel strongly about friends you care about and crushes happen, it's fine don't be ashamed about it, but if you don't want to potentially damage something good then you just need to give it time and try to move on
