Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

bruh i've had bad canon characters ruined the apple bushel way more frequently for me for all those same reasons and there's no denying dwrp culture is still way more forgiving to bad canon characters. it's not wrong to be frustrated by that hypocrisy.

it's a fair point. but i'm also going to be able to go to the mods with evidence of oocness if a canon character acts ooc and inappropriate (cast or not) than if a crau does. crau has 'well, it happened/evolved in the other game' as an excuse. at least you and yours can judge a shitty ooc version of a straight canon character and just avoid or call them out on that and have people understand than if you try to call out 'but i've had five years of crau and now harry potter has one eye and masturbates with frogs. it's all organic, guys. it happened in other games'.

...your "normal" castmates also have that excuse of it developing in that very game. in both cases if someone is being ooc, you can ask how it happened and in both cases players should be able to link to the threads that caused that development regardless of what game they happened in

idk where this idea that craus can't be criticized has come from.
