Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

If someone in your game skipped your tag-in to their top level, would you tell them?

Depends. If I have tagged with them before and know they are normally reliable, I would. If I'm not as familiar with them, I'm far more likely to assume it's being done intentionally out of no interest in tagging with me or my character and they are expecting I'll take a hint.

Now I do get that often it isn't intentional, but I do feel that people who actually don't want to intentionally skip anyone's tags would go back at least every few days and check their top levels/posts at minimum to ensure they did get everyone because anyone who has been on this site long enough knows DW misses notifs at times and people can also think they replied and didn't. It takes a few seconds and ensures that a blatantly wrong message isn't being sent to someone who showed interest in tagging you.

there are so many people on this site who lament when they realize they've skipped over or dropped tags. Just reach out and tell them. It's more likely that it's accidental or they just haven't gotten to it.

I try to check when I top level but I still end up missing things accidentally because I'm swamped and I genuinely forgot or thought I've replied.

RP is a two way street, anon. It also takes a few seconds to PM or ping them. Don't assume the worst of people. That's where all this awful hinting culture comes from.
