Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme. Your unfunny, forced memes also fall under this rule.
Do not treat this comm like your personal therapist. Threads about nonfictional suicide, self injury, rape, and abuse will be deleted. There are better resources out there for you.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

this has nothing to do with you liking la. and everything to do with you not knowing what a german name looks like but okay. it's not about you being la scum or whatever self deprecating thing you're calling yourself and more about you making a stupid assumption and getting called out on it

i watch la and i still know that a german name is german even when it looks like an anime character, jesus

then you watch different things than me. unless the name was hans greuber or mikaelson or something, i wouldn't think it's german. edelgard doesn't look german. it actually looks english (old english) if i had to pick a country. but i also thought it was made up. a lot of canons have made up names. and again, all of this detracting from 'i think it looks like edgelord' and here we go.

google says it's scandanavian, which is closer than england since i remember it from tvd/originals and they're not english.

that's all well and good but you could've just said "this sort of name is unfamiliar to me" and not "i'm la garbage trash scum lol!! and i don't understand wacky japanese cartoons" which is how this whole thing comes off. it's just a bizarre way to phrase yourself

i didn't even say japanese or intimate that the name was japanese. i literally thought it was made up. from a japanese canon. that wouldn't make it japanese in origin. just made up. i sure as hell wouldn't have figured it to be german, but that's because i don't think of germany for animated films. maybe it's bizarre? but i was more or less establishing that i don't know the origin of any animated games or movies. even if they're not japanese.

like the person said above the fact that you added the medium thing into it in the first place is baffling to me. there was no reason for it and every time you try to explain you just look worse. quit while you're ahead. it'd be like an anime player going "i don't watch la (anime shit garbage scum here) but doesn't legolas look like leggy less? how do words work" it's weird dude
