Not everyone has the time or energy to get weirdly obsessive about who is tagging and reaching out to who every month.

for what it's worth, people posting to events with closed top levels stick out like a sore thumb and it's not hard to notice the 8th month in a row they do it, especially if they're a character you were interested in tagging, so it's not really anything that requires much time or energy,

it isn't really obsessive to look at the monthly events and notice the same characters doing nothing but closed top levels. especially if you've been in the game for any decent length of time.

it doesn't mean you will notice them reaching out to others via private messages, plurk or simply tagging out. if you are paying attention to these things then you are weirdly obsessive about certain players

if they’re making closed top levels to the same characters i promise they aren’t doing this. you could go check their character tags in the game for yourself if you wanna prove me wrong.

closed top level doesn't mean they don't tag out to others though? it just means they want to control how many threads they have so they can have time to run this game for you

my advice is to spend less time creeping on others and focus on your own rp, but if you really want to play the "prove me wrong" game, then the onus of proof lies on the one who's throwing mud in the first place. something tells me you'll probably do that instead of writing your own tags today

idk why you keep wanting to stan for these cliquey players but i can assure you that it's very obvious these people are only interested in playing with their friends. i generally poke into most open posts and logs to see if they are something my characters would be interested in and also just to read threads when work is slow and i'm bored, and there are plenty of people i never see tagging out outside of their own little clique.

a. they're a friend of that group
b. it is someone from that group
c. it's a stranger who thinks you are wrong because you're bad at this
d. it's a stranger whiteknighting them in an attempt to make them look bad

pick whichever of these will help you sleep at night because literally nobody else cares why someone would shut you down. what's more interesting is why you are so focused on pushing this agenda, so it's your turn to answer me. someone in that group must have wronged you for you to be so worked up, so stop being a pussy and give us real deets or this whole thing has just been a waste of everyone's time.

All of the people I've talked to are happy to thread with others if you just ask them, even if they have nothing open to tag into.

This. And don't go in expecting a thread like it's your given right. Sometimes they're genuinely busy or it takes months before it can happen.

these babies acting like threading with a cr circle they've built over time is a horrible horrible thing and there's no way they're just swamped and don't have the capacity to take on more even if they wanted to.

we rp for fun, not to be fun dispensers. ask and you might get but it's not your right to get it even so.

not even in the game but you guys really don't see how it's a problem if you can't even get cr with a significant number of people in the game without putting yourself on a waiting list? like damn, if i found that out about a game i was considering joining, i'd go elsewhere because that's a huge turnoff.

there's plenty of people open to new cr in this game. anon is being disingenuous because if they were so keen on new cr they'd tag new players and the people who post on the cr meme specifically looking for new cr. yet anon is nowhere to be found on the cr meme considering how many top levels there go unanswered month after month. even if you've given up on the cr meme because of low traffic, the vast majority of the game posts at least a couple of open prompts on their event top levels that anon could easily jump into without even planning anything beforehand.

what they're actually saying is they're just as hyperselective about who they want to play with as the people they're complaining about. it's not good enough for them that most of the players in the game are visibly available to play with if anon makes the first move. they want a very specific handful of players fawning over them for their attention unprompted.
