This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. if you can't legally drink until 21 or buy a gun or lottery ticket in the us, then how can you actually call yourself an adult? you're prohibited from doing most of what's available. in fact, most car rental services won't rent to anyone under 25. fact is, someone that's over the age of 30 is going to think 19 is under the age they might be comfortable with and you screaming 'but i'm an adult' while stamping your feet isn't proving them wrong.

depends on the crime. still, trying to tell someone that they should be okay with smutting with someone who's 18-19 when they're 30-50 is also nonsense. that's what this is all about.

You think those are the major things that define adulthood?

You can sign contracts, enlist in the military, take financial recognizance for yourself, marry without needing parental consent, consent to sexual activity, buy lottery tickets, work full time, etc etc etc...

Literally the only legal thing you can't do at 18 is buy alcohol.

That being said, someone who doesn't want to smut with 18-19yos is perfectly within their rights. That's not about legal majority.
