Mine is about half and half. I'd play things with this character that I might be a lot more hesitant to play with others, but some of my general kinks would also apply to this character. Regardless, there are still more than a couple on there that aren't really kinks I like on their own, but think might be interesting to play out with them.

Could be a case of the player OP is looking at being the same way (or it could even be me, as a prospective surprise castmate slipped in a reserve recently).

also about half stuff the character would be into and half stuff they wouldn't be into but i just wanna play out. i probably feel less weird about putting my own kinks on there because i like noncon too so i'm definitely interested in playing out things my character wouldn't enjoy at all. idk how people do it otherwise honestly. if you don't like forcing your character into situations they wouldn't enjoy, then how do you play kinks the character wouldn't canonly go for? do you just allow for some OOcness for the sake of the thread?

I list both IC and OOC kinks but for ones of mine that contradict what my character would like, I don't typically make them OOC. If my character was nearly choked in canon, I'm not going to suddenly have them into breathplay.

i tailor my kink lists to the character i want to play, since some kinks appeal to me more with certain characters (eg. a character with a lot of scars will get scar worship listed, but i wouldn't bother to put it on a general kink list).

the only thing that stays consistent is the nope list, and even that can sometimes vary a little, like being cool with playing smut between teens, but only wanting adults for a middle aged character.

i tailor my kink lists to "fit" characters but i have some favorite go-tos (rough sex, edging) and hard nos I'm not interested in ever writing (guro, scat). it's probably 60/40 customized to character/personal favorites
