i'm gonna visit family i don't think i've ever met before.

some relatives and i are gonna go on a road trip to see some older relatives for "why don't we visit them before they die and also vacay in a relative's home state while it's still summer-ish" reasons.

i'm kinda tempted to ask a dwrper i know who lives near that area if we could meet up but i feel bad for being flaky lately lol.

Finally going back to Japan! One my own this time, so I actually have any control over what I get to do! Which means a lot of nerding out over historical sites...

I'm excited but of course my shit brain keeps going over every little thing that could go wrong, no matter how unlikely.

i like the idea of traveling but am too broke/chicken to go much of anywhere. but i am planning on driving out to the coast one of these upcoming weekends. it's about an hour's drive from where i live and a pretty straight shot down the highway, so it shouldn't be too intimidating for a baby like me.

probably won't do anything super exciting once i'm there, just wander along the beach and look for interesting things. i'm a simple creature.

My bestie moved cross-country to Colorado a year ago and I’m going to visit her for our shared birthday! Not sure what we’re going to do when I’m there but honestly I miss her so much we could spend the whole weekend on the couch and I won’t care.

i'm going to germany at the end of the month

i'm in europe already so we're doing the whole thing by train. one of the big things i like about this trip is it involves precisely 0 airports.

Flying on my own for the first time later in August to go start college. A little nervous about getting lost, but it'll be worth it to get to live closer to my extended family and finish my education.

It does suck I have to get up at 4AM tho. :/

My friends are going to visit another country but I am not.

But that's ok! I don't like to travel far or much (bad anxiety gets worse the farther I am from my support network) but they love to and I can't wait to hear all the stories they come back with and see their pictures! In the meantime I also get to cat-sit! It's win-win, though I think I got the better deal. I am going out of town in two months for a small gaming convention where I know like 20 people in attendance and its within driving distance of home. The perfect vacation.
