possibly, he's not on the drop post. makes it feel a bit sketchy that someone jumped right in like that. I hope they're just friends with the player or something rather than someone who was waiting around hoping for him to be swept.

oh, shut up. seriously. i'm so sick of this weird sense of entitlement in rp. what if they had no idea about the other dean? what if someone just checked the taken list before apping and he wasn't there and now they're apping and have no idea about the other dean that isn't there anymore? you don't get a moratorium on a character slot just because they left. they left. you don't get to hold the spot in grieving just because someone's gone. it's not still theirs because they left. even if they were aware and did jump on it, good for them. the spot's there to be jumped on. don't be weird about it. the other dean was clearly swept/dropped for a reason. they are gone. the spot is open. there's no polite period of waiting and there shouldn't be.

whatever. the original question was why is one apping when there's one in the game. then it was shown there isn't one via the taken list and the posts moved to 'well, i hope they're a friend otherwise it's creepy for them to swoop in right when the spot opens'.

or you can just chill out yourself and realize sometimes there's a fast turnover in games.
